William J. Messer

Bill is a founding partner of Five Continents, established in 1993. His previous experience includes serving as Managing Director of Royal Trust in the Cayman Islands, alongside senior roles in international legal and financial services.<br />
<br />
He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian and International Bar Associations, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Bill holds undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and a law degree from the University of Wales (UK).

Katherine Tathum Neatham

Director, Wealth Management
Katherine has worked with Five Continents since its inception and brings more than 15 years' experience in the financial services industry. As Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for the firm's operations and plays an active role in asset management and strategic oversight.<br />
<br />
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University in Toronto and an MBA from the International College of the Cayman Islands. Katherine is an Accredited Director and is closely involved in the day-to-day leadership of the firm.

Scott Elphinstone

Director, Accounting and Corporate Services
Scott is a founding partner of Five Continents, having joined the firm in 1994. He brings more than 20 years of global portfolio management experience and currently serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee.<br />
<br />
His previous roles include director-level positions at Royal Trust in Barbados and Toronto. Scott is a member of CPA Canada, the CFA Institute, and the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants.
